Day 1: Surabaya – Bromo Area

Morning – Afternoon

Pickup from Surabaya (airport/hotel/train station) – recommended before 10:00 AM.

Drive to Bromo area (approx. 3.5–4.5 hours).

Stop for lunch on the way (optional).

Afternoon – Evening

Check in to a hotel/homestay in Cemoro Lawang or nearby village.

Optional: Walk to the Bromo viewpoint on foot or relax and enjoy the mountain atmosphere.

Overnight: Bromo area (e.g., Café Lava, Bromo Terrace, Jiwa Jawa Resort).

Day 2: Bromo Sunrise Tour – Drive to Bondowoso/Banyuwangi

03:00 AM

Start Bromo sunrise tour by 4WD Jeep.

Watch sunrise from King Kong Hill or Seruni Point (less crowded than Penanjakan).

Continue to:

Sea of Sand

Bromo Crater (via short trek or horse ride)

Optional: Visit Teletubbies Hill or Whispering Sands.

09:00 AM

Return to hotel for breakfast and a quick rest.

10:30 AM

Check out and begin drive to Bondowoso or Banyuwangi (6–7 hours).

Stop for lunch and coffee break along the way.

Evening

Check-in at hotel near Ijen (e.g., Ijen View Hotel in Bondowoso or Grand Harvest Resort in Banyuwangi).

Overnight: Ijen area.

Day 3: Ijen Blue Fire Trek – Drop-off at Ketapang Ferry Port

00:30 – 01:00 AM

Depart for Paltuding Basecamp (Ijen starting point).

Start Ijen trek (3 km uphill) to view:

Electric-blue sulfur flames (before sunrise)

Sulfur miners

Ijen Crater Lake after sunrise

07:00 – 08:00 AM

Return to basecamp; transfer back to hotel for shower and breakfast (optional).

10:00 – 11:00 AM

Drive to Ketapang Ferry Port (30–60 minutes).

Drop-off at the port for ferry to Bali (Gilimanuk Port).
